How can you help with your child's learning?

During this term your children will be learning the colour Yellow and rectangle shape.

Can you please help your children to learn how to put their shoes on and off this term as this helps the ladies putting wellies on for the garden.

Please ensure your children have named wellies, coats, hats and a named water bottle.

Can you please make sure you pay your fees as promptly as possible to avoid a late fee.

Tapestry

We have implemented a development logging system at the pre-school called Tapestry which allows us to share your childs learning journey with you and visa versa. We actively encourage parents to review observations made by ourstaff in setting and we would love for you as parents to comment on these or indeed upload observations of your child's development at home too.  In addition to this we also occasionally take pictures of the children, where written consent is obtained, having fun and learning at our preschool and upload these to our secure Facebook site, which only has current parents access, we encourage parents to have conversations with their children about their day at Topsy Turvy.

At home with your child

Practice identifying your child’s initial and the sound it makes.

If you have been doing something interesting at home or visited somewhere at the weekend we would love to hear about it.  You could jot a few words down that your child said, what you did and where you went, attach a photograph or an item you have collected e.g. an admission ticket, a flower.  It doesn't have to be a lot. Key workers will be looking forward to sharing these stories at group time or reviewing these on Tapestry.

If your contact details change i.e. Email, mobiles, landline or address please inform the Pre-School as soon as possible.
